WOW! I was a little grossed out at first until I read the
creator's post about how it was accomplished:
It's barbapapa and barbamama onigiri filled with avocado, ginger and mayonaise (yum). The rice was coloured with beetroot juice. Eyes and flowers are made of tiny (TINY! That was so hard..) pieces of eggsheet, chives and nori. The couple is romantically laying on a bed of lettuce. Heart shaped candy, orange baby bell pepper, baby carrot and a bottle of dressing (hiding).
I love
bento and give this person a huge thumbs-up for creativity. It should be entered in the
Bento Battle at the Japan Society, no?
